Meet Our Team
President and CEO
After a 25-year career in multi-unit food and beverage operations, Scott Hoffmire founded an outstanding purchasing program for the hospitality, leisure and gaming industries — Source1 Purchasing. Scott is one of the most successful theoreticians and practitioners of standards based purchasing methods. Scott served for fifteen years as the Corporate Director of Food & Beverage Operations at Allen & O’Hara, managing an award-winning national foodservice division. During Scott’s fifteen-year tenure, he was nominated twice for the prestigious IFMA Silver Plate Award. Scott has also provided consultation services to organizations such as The Ritz Carlton, Best Western, John Q. Hammons Hotels, Omni Hotels, Marriott Int., ARAMARK, Cornell and Rutgers University. Scott received a Bachelor of Applied Science in Hospitality and Administration/Management from Rochester Institute of Technology. He enjoys recreational flying, building airplanes and raising Jack Russell terriers.
Chief Operating Officer
Bob Bassett brings more than 30 years of experience in the lodging and hospitality industries to our company. Bob worked as Corporate Director of Purchasing for Flagstone Hospitality, Promus Hotels and RFS Hotels where he oversaw contract negotiations, managed supplier relationships and leveraged corporate purchasing power through the supply chain. Bob is recognized as a leader in strategic sourcing and procurement management for his use of control, consistency and analytics to drive profits. Bob is responsible for ensuring operational excellence for the Source1 Procurement program across the organization and for supporting the company’s major suppliers and corporate partners. He enjoys spending time with his family at dinner over a delicious meal and listening to great music.
Vice President of Business Operations & Administration
Becky Magaw joined Source1 Purchasing with 20+ years’ experience in customer relations and data systems. Prior to Source1 Purchasing, Becky worked at Intracoastal Health Systems and the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County. Her key accomplishments include successfully developing new billing departments, including system conversions and standardizing reporting procedures. With the Business Development Board, her efforts were focused on outreach and expansion strategies to assist local companies with creating new jobs in Palm Beach County. Currently, she creates solutions within Salesforce.com and other related applications to enhance our customer’s experience and meet the goals of customer relations, sales and marketing. Becky earned her B.A. in Government and Business Administration from Anderson University and received her Public Administration Master’s degree from Florida Atlantic University. Additional interests including spending time with her family and volunteering in various church activities.
Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Prior to his current role as Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Source1 Purchasing Bill spent six years as President of JCA Solutions, an Executive Business Consultant firm concentrating on transforming business performance through the development of go-to-market strategies and new product launches for large global and start-up organizations. Prior to building a successful consulting firm, Bill held a variety of sales and marketing leadership roles at Office Depot. Bill currently oversees all new account acquisition, account management, new channel development and marketing activities for Source1 Purchasing. Bill has a passion for leadership, working with diverse groups to develop strategic insights, and building and maintaining strong teams. Bill is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Marketing and Personnel Management.
Director, Account Management & National Programs
Emma Ryder has 20 years of experience having worked with Cintas Corporation and ABM Industries. She held program management and branch operations roles where she was responsible for client interaction with major accounts. Emma is highly regarded for her practical insights that drive results which serve her well in current role. She currently partners with corporate customers to provide a custom, branded support platform so each operator can gain the benefit of our full range of services. She also leads the Account Management team in their efforts to nurture and grow customer relationships. Emma attended Eastern Connecticut State University’s in education and is fluent in Spanish. She loves cheering on her children in baseball, dancing and having fun outdoors.
Director, Sales Operations
Martha Loeffler leads our Sales Operations team providing intricate support to Business Development and National Programs. Martha has an extensive hospitality background with more than 15 years in the industry mostly focused on restaurant management and catering operations. Her prior career also includes property management, community development, market assessment and finance which contributes to her ability to spot and pursue growth opportunities. Martha holds a M.S. in Organizational Leadership from Palm Beach Atlantic University and is fluent in Spanish. She is passionate about her children, and enjoys music, baseball games, and good food.
Director of Business Development
Jason Blair is responsible for the performance of business development resources, which include Regional Business Development Managers and Inside Sales. Jason graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Minor in Political Science. Jason brings 17 years of sales leadership and key account management experience, most recently as Director, Business Development for BROWZ and prior as Senior Sales Director/Investment Management for RR Donnelley and Sons. Jason has a proven track record of success in the Business Development area, which will be invaluable in meeting the departmental goals and objectives.
Director of Marketing
Paul Capodanno has more than 20 years of digital, agency and B2B industry leadership. Paul provides marketing for our national accounts, partners and operators as well as digital strategies, e-commerce and corporate communications. Prior to joining the company, Paul led digital and social media marketing for an Omnicom agency and directed programs for major a hospitality supplier. Paul’s in-depth knowledge of technology platforms, web metrics, and multi-channel customer engagement has included work with dozens of hospitality and foodservice brands (Hilton, Sofitel, Extended Stay, Travelocity, Red Robin, Logan’s Roadhouse). Paul has an M.B.A. from University of Oklahoma, a Master’s in Marketing from University of Clermont-Ferrand in France, and is fluent in French and German. He enjoys sports cars and boating.
Director of Community Relations
Evy Little brings over 10 years of experience from UPS and Workforce Alliance to Source1 Purchasing. In her previous roles, she assisted small and large companies with new hire recruitment, assessing new hire performance and employee retention. In Evy’s current role, she promotes Source1 Purchasing to industry partners, user councils, advisory boards, alliances and roundtables. Evy graduated Nova Southeastern University with a B.S. in Psychology. She is fluent in Spanish and enjoys inspiring others, spending time with her family and cheering on her two sons in baseball.
